My Powerful WHY
I found my path to coaching at a time in my life when I felt completely lost—not unhappy or struggling with my mental health, but unsure of who I was or where I was heading. I had been a mum for over 15 years, spent years supporting family members through difficult seasons, and as I reached 40, everything around me began to shift. Even though my husband and I were partners in a successful martial arts academy, I couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was missing.
Coaching became the space where I rediscovered myself. It helped me reconnect with who I truly am, rebuild my confidence, and understand why I think and behave the way I do. Through this process, I became aware of how deeply self-sabotage had been shaping my life and how powerful our thoughts really are. I learned that what we think influences how we feel, how we show up, and ultimately, how we live. That belief now sits at the core of everything I do—catching our thoughts, choosing positivity where we can, and learning to move forward even when life feels heavy. We all have down days, but acknowledging them and continuing forward is where real growth happens.
In 2025, my life changed forever when I lost my husband. The grief reshaped everything I thought I knew about myself and my future. After stepping away from coaching for three years, I’ve now made the decision to begin again—stronger, more grounded, and with a deeper sense of purpose than ever before. Returning to coaching isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. It’s my way of honouring the journey I’ve walked, the resilience I’ve built, and the belief that even after profound loss, it’s possible to rebuild, rediscover, and create a future filled with meaning.
This is my WHY. I know what it feels like to feel lost. I know what it feels like to rebuild. And I know the power of having someone walk beside you as you find your way forward again.

Embracing My Journey of Self-Discovery
Throughout my time working full-time at the martial arts academy, I was determined to step outside my comfort zone and discover the person I truly wanted to become. I felt incredibly fortunate to have the support of my husband, who encouraged me to take a step back from the academy and dedicate a few evenings to study and pursue my coaching training.
The coaching journey has been deeply rewarding for me, and it comes in two profound parts. First, there's the joy of helping someone break through their own barriers and realise they are in control of their future. The moment they have that "light bulb" moment—when they understand they’ve been holding themselves back—never gets old. It's a privilege to witness their transformation.
The second part is the personal growth I've experienced along the way. Coaching has helped me reconnect with my own confidence, and I feel empowered to be unapologetically myself. It’s a journey that has taught me to embrace who I am and to trust that I am capable of shaping my own future.
While I’m still exploring where my coaching journey will take me, one thing is clear: I am deeply connected to women, particularly those who, like me, have reached a stage in life where their children have grown up, and they feel a bit lost. I understand that sense of rediscovery—and I’m passionate about helping these incredible women reignite their passions and reclaim their purpose.
In the future, I would love to work with women in this space, guiding them through a journey of rediscovery and empowerment. Coaching has the power to inspire positive change, helping individuals refocus, set meaningful goals, and create a safe, supportive environment for lifelong growth.
I’m excited to continue learning about mindset and the profound impact our thoughts and habits have on our daily lives. By shifting our mindset, we can create lasting change and form habits that support our growth. I’m also eager to expand my toolkit with new strategies and tools to better support those I work with.
Ultimately, we’re all on our own unique journeys, each seeking growth and transformation for different reasons. But one thing is certain: the potential for change and empowerment is limitless.
